These pages represent the story of my journey through the MA program at Sonoma State University. My work here has been conducted primarily through the lens of my role as Project Director for the West Contra Costa Unified School District's Teaching American History Grant. In that capacity, it is my job to make sure that participating teachers are getting the best, most relevant professional development experiences related to their classroom practice.
The second lens I use is that of classroom teacher. I am currently advising the newspaper and yearbook staffs and teaching AP Human Geography. Each of these groups brings its own set of challenges to the table, yet my charge is to make sure each of my students is successful.
